The value of the SEC_MAX_FAILED_LOGIN_ATTEMPTS parameter determines the number of authentication attempts can be made by a client on a connection to the server process. After the specified number of failure attempts, the connection will be automatically dropped by the server process. Advantage of this parameter is you can prevent the hackers and intruders to the database by password guessing. You can modify the parameter values as you needed and the default value of this parameter is 10. It is not a dynamic parameter.
