ORA-01503: CREATE CONTROLFILE failed
ORA-12720: operation requires database is in EXCLUSIVE mode
ORA-12720: operation requires database is in EXCLUSIVE mode
Solution Description:
Sol 1:
1. Shut down the database
2. Change cluster_database=false in init.ora file
3. Start nomount and execute the control file creation script.
Sol 2:
alter system set cluster_database =false scope = spfile;
